Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) has multiple volunteer opportunities in our Rockcastle County programs and offices.
Grateful Threadz Thrift Store
Volunteers needed to help give our customers a shopping experience that respects their dignity and provides affordable clothing and household items. Volunteers will be on their feet most of the day to sort donations and get clothes ready for the store floor. Ongoing need; flexible hourly commitment.
Grateful Bread Food Pantry
Volunteers needed especially for Commodities Supplemental Food Distribution days, which take place on the second Thursday and Friday of each month. Volunteers can expect to pack boxes of food items for senior members of the Rockcastle County community. Assistance is also needed on an on-going basis to stock shelves and pick up donations.

Description
CAP serves low-income families, particularly children, the elderly and persons with disabilities, in Appalachian Kentucky. Volunteers may serve part-time or full-time in a variety of programs.
