This is an annual event that raised $1.8 million dollars for Breast Cancer research at last years event. Since this event started in 1998, it has raised over $50 million! This year it will take place on March 16th at Navy Pier. There will be Silent & Live Auctions as well as James Beard chefs preparing food for the guests. Rick Bayless, Art Smith and Marcus Samuelsson to name a few. Humanitarian Service awards will be given out to honorees who have shown humanitarian efforts and exceptional leadership. I am looking to recruit some volunteers to help the day of the event between 11:00am-9:30pm. Responsibilities will be anything from helping set up silent auctions, checking people in, assisting in getting items guests have won and checking people out. Parking at Navy Pier will be paid for the day of the event. Shift times (flexible): 2:00pm - 7:00pm, 4:00pm - 9:30pm **We have a few openings earlier as well, 12:00pm-2:00pm.
