It’s that time of year... you know when the air conditioners go on and the toes get cold. Have you ever been looking for that one sock... and wondered what happened to it? Maybe the SOCK MONSTER grabbed it... or maybe it just made legs and ran far... far away. Well this is what many of our hospice patients experience at home as well as in facilities. This is why ALTUS HOSPICE is partnering with the community to give SOCKS to our patients. These socks must be new & clean. We are accepting socks of any color, style & size from May 1st to October 15th. Donations will be dropped off at our office or scheduled for pick up. Our staff & volunteers will deliver these socks to patients as needed throughout the year. This is a great opportunity for groups.
If you are interested in participating in this volunteer opportunity please contact our Volunteer Coordinator: Bobbie Liggins at 936-293-6044 or email bliggins@altushospicecare.com Please leave your name and telephone number so I can call you back.
