BDPA is looking for energetic persons interested in teaching a group of students grades 8-12 that are learning HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL & C#.

We are looking for persons interested in leading or assisting our existing HTML / CSS & JavaScript instructors. Students are new to languages and any person with professional or classroom experience can be a VALUABLE addition to the #BDPA volunteer instructors. Classes run Saturdays 10-12 noon from January to April each year. Our program is currently VIRTUAL until the spread of COVID-19 and Variants dissipate.

Also, for the Programmatic Thinking program, we are looking for persons interested in teaching 6-weeks of Scratch programming to younger students grades 2-5, and Python to 6-8 graders. This program is also Virtual from 10-12 noon, starting in March.

BDPA is the premiere African-American professional I/T networking organization that trains students from all ethnicities, with a focus on students from under-represented ethnicities in the field of I/T. Help give kids options and choices in their pursuit of education and career opportunities.
