Help resolve complaints while gaining a better understanding of the rights and responsibilities of consumers, businesses, patients, and health care providers.
You will be trained in:
* consumer protection laws
* patients’ rights
* conflict resolution and mediation skills
* hotline counseling, and
* settling disputes in areas such as sales, false advertising, repairs, debt collection, medical bills, landlord/tenant, defective products, and credit and health insurance claims.
Use your life skills to solve problems and help others. Our main office is located in downtown Baltimore near Light Rail, Metro, MTA, and MARC lines.
We ask that you work ten hours per week, split between two days; Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
