OCC Volunteer program is seeking a skilled volunteer to provide support to the Volunteer Services Coordinator.
DUTIES:
Enter and track volunteer data, design reports, prepare materials for new volunteers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Understanding of Word, Excel, dependable and punctual, self-directed, customer service back ground a plus.
BENEFITS:
Volunteers receive thorough training followed by ongoing educational, social and recognition activities.
Volunteers also receive a newsletter and complimentary parking.
The OREGON CONVENTION CENTER is located on MAX and Tri-Met stops.

Description
The Oregon Convention Center is managed by MERC, a subsidiary of Metro. MERC contributes to the region's cultural and economic vitality through management and stewardship of regional public assembly facilities.
Walk into the Oregon Convention Center and you are immediately greeted by a warm, smiling face - one that frequently belongs to an Oregon Convention Center volunteer. That's right, a volunteer! Currently over 80 volunteers donate their time and effort to make the Oregon Convention Center a superior facility and a great place to visit! Whether they are welcoming visitors, directing attendees to a show or meeting, or donating time to a volunteer committee, the volunteers help to make our twin towers shine!
