Great clothes need great volunteers!

Are you looking for a meaningful way to get involved in your community? Are thrift stores your happy place? Become a Store Coordinator at our Legacy Thrift store at 2900 Wilson Ave. S.W. in Grandville! Legacy Thrift is unique among thrift stores because every part of the store is run by volunteers - from sorting, pricing, and cashiering to item repair, display, and administration. Here are some duties that the Store Coordinator will be in charge of:

  1. Oversee cashiers
  2. Follow up on store maintenance requests (organize/call)
  3. Coordinate in-store small volunteer groups with Unknown Nations representative.
  4. Available for phone calls for different topics from the store (balancing daily cash, staffing, maintenance, etc.)

Legacy Thrift supports the work of Unknown Nations (formerly World Mission). For every four hours a store is open, Unknown Nations is able to send 10 solar-powered audio Bibles or Treasures to some of the most remote people nations on the Earth, people who have never heard of Jesus! In a very real way, you can bring these unknown nations hope by fulfilling the Great Commission and enabling God's word to reach the "ends of the Earth" - without even packing your bags!

Treasure distributions are often coupled with humanitarian aid, softening hearts to the gospel message. Consequently, Unknown Nations also provides essential resources through food, shelter, clothing and medical aid and provides clean water wells for communities.

About Unknown Nations

Location:

4200 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321, US

Mission Statement

To reach the unknown nations at the ends of the Earth--completing the last four words of Jesus’ calling.

Description

Unknown Nations was originally founded in 1994 as World Mission with a simple but ambitious mission: to reach the ends of the Earth. Founded by Paul Land, World Mission was largely funded by Land’s thrift stores.

Today, as we did then, we believe that everyone deserves to hear the gospel, and we are committed to using innovative methods to reach the world’s most unreached people groups.

We work in partnership with local churches and organizations to provide humanitarian aid, medical care, and disaster relief. We also use audio Bibles, solar-powered radios, and other technology to reach people who have never had access to the gospel.

We believe that everyone has the potential to make a difference in the world, and we are committed to helping people reach their full potential.
