ORGANIZATION: Minds Matter Southern California

Want to put your writing skills to use by helping high-achieving high scool students get a college education? Join us at Minds Matter Los Angeles as part of the writing council! You'll work closely with a few dedicated, super-bright 10th, 11th and 12th grade students from low-income communities to bump up their writing skills on written assignments (essays, personal statements, etc). Most feedback can be done on your own time but you'll get to know your students with in-person tutoring twice during the school year. Be a mentor, make a friend!

To apply, please complete our volunteer questionnaire located at https://www.tfaforms.com/310839 so we can learn a little more about you. Visit our website at www.mindsmatterla.org or email us at volunteer@mindsmatterla.org for more information.
