Volunteers are needed to visit with patients, read books, hold their hands, and talk with them about their life. Help to comfort them and calm their fears. Keep the lonely company and show them someone cares by spending time with them each week. No definite time requirement, but one - two hours a week are welcomed. Commit yourself to being a gentle companion for those at the end of life. Pay it forward. Make a difference.
