DRIVERS: MEAL DELIVERY & WELLNESS VISITS
Volunteer for Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud (MOWLB) and have a meaningful impact on people in your community. As a driver you will deliver nutritious meals and provide wellness visits to homebound older adults and people living with disabilities in Loveland, Berthoud, and surrounding rural areas. Your work will help our clients remain independent in their own homes and you will have opportunities to meet and socialize with fellow MOWLB volunteers. Select a regular weekly schedule or choose to be a substitute driver and help when you can. Drivers must be eighteen or older, have had a valid driver’s license for at least two years, and use their own vehicle for deliveries. Youth are welcome to ride with a parent/grandparent or other supervising adult. The time commitment is about 2 hours once a week around lunchtime on weekdays (more available as desired). Interested?
