The Friends of the Newport News Public Library need volunteers in our bookstore at Grissom Library locatd at 366 DeShazor Drive in Newport News. Volunteers are needed on Monday and Friday mornings from 10Am to Noon. Volunteers sort and shelve books and participate in book sales. Volunteers should be able to work independtly and enjoy talking to people about books.

The Friends of the Newport News Public Library is a nonprofit, volunteer organization. It was incorporated in 1981 to foster closer relations between the Newport News Public Library and the citizens of the City.
