Volunteers who love animals are needed to help at adoption events on Saturdays at Petco at 41st and Yale. Duties include walking dogs briefly outside for "potty breaks", cleaning crates when needed and helping set up before an event and break down after.

Mission Statement

Rescued 'n Ready Animal Foundation (RnRAF) rescues abandoned or unwanted dogs and cats in the greater Tulsa, Oklahoma area from nearby kill shelters and the public. Rescued pets receive veterinary care and are placed in foster care until they are placed in the best-suited forever home, thus ensuring a successful adoption and enriching the lives of pets and their owners. RnRAF educates potential adopters and the general public on the importance of adequate pet care and the positive effect of pet sterilization to help minimize pet overpopulation.

Description

Rescued 'n Ready Animal Foundation is a nonprofit organization formed by experienced rescue volunteers to help address the pet overpopulation problem in Oklahoma. On acceptance into RnRAF, each dog and cat is completely vetted and put into a foster home until adopted into a foever home. RnRAF pets are shown at adoption events every Saturday and occasionally at special events on other days.
