More detail: Test prep instructors are trained to guide students through a structured weekly Kaplan curriculum that helps elevate their SAT/ACT scores. Test Prep Program sessions take place approximately three Saturdays per month for two hours (10:00am-12:00pm) from October through May. Test prep instructors administer a diagnostic exam, split the students up into two or three groups based on ability, teach core concepts and standardized test tricks/tips to the students, and administer several additional practice exams throughout the "semester." Test prep instructors play a crucial role in fundraising. Test prep instructors help to recruit subsequent generations of Minds Matter volunteers and leaders.
