Due to COVID -19 and in response to keeping all staff, volunteers and people in crisis safe we are canceling Common Grounds Monthly orientation. All group screenings and Sprint training sessions are postponed untill further notice.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Common Ground. We are grateful for the generosity of the volunteers that donate their time and talents making our mission a reality of "helping people move from crisis to hope." Due to Governor Whitmer’s "stay-in-place" orders in regards to COVID-19, we have changed our regular volunteer activities.

While we would love to have you here, what you can do right now is support Common Ground staff and programs by letting people know that we are here if they are experiencing a crisis. Our 24 hour Resource and Crisis Helpline is available through phones and text by dialing 1-800-231-1127. People can also be connected to a trained crisis worker through our chat program by clicking on the chat link on our website, www.commongroundhelps.org.

We are hopeful to re-establish our normal volunteer activities soon. We will send you information about upcoming volunteer trainings.
