Reach & Rise is a national YMCA program designed to build a better future for youth by helping them reach their full potential through the support of caring adults.

Vounteers are needed to serve 1-on-1 as caring, guiding, and responsible mentors for children ages 6-17 in the Dubuque community. Volunteers are also needed to serve in a group setting with two mentors and six youth. These groups are 2 hours each week for 16 weeks during the Spring and Fall and 8 weeks during the Summer.

Mentors will commit to a 15 hour training and will be required to spend 1-3 hours a week with their "mentee" for a 1 year time period. During this time frame, consistent support will be given to mentors as they and their mentees work to build a relationship that fosters healthy growth and development through goal-setting.
