The City of Shawnee partners with the City of Merriam to host a large recycling event each spring. Latex paint is one of the items collected and we are seeking volunteers to help process the paint. This is a really fun way to learn how paint is recycled and help the community! No specific skills or experience are needed. Training will be provided at this fun and unique volunteer opportunity.
Several sessions are available.
Shifts are 8 a.m. to noon AND/OR 12:30 to 4 p.m. on the following days:
Monday, May 6th
Tuesday, May 7th
Wednesday, May 8th
Thursday, May 10th
Please consider helping with one session...it's fun!
(Sessions may be added or removed depending upon paint volume and volunteer assistance.)
SHOP for FREE in the store once you shift is done for many useful products!
