A Benefit for Children & Adults with Special Needs

Start your engines, batter up and shoot a 3-pointer for our "Over the Rainbow Auction XXV," Sports Night at Rainbow - a benefit for children and adults with special needs! Volunteers are needed with the silent and live auctions, event enhancers, set-up, tear down and more! Over 400 patrons will attend this event eager to bid in the silent and live auctions on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Volunteers are also needed to help load and transport auction items and supplies from Blue Springs, MO to the venue and set-up on Friday, April 4th. Dinner is provided for volunteers both evenings.

Directions, parking information, required attire and final details will be emailed to volunteers at least two weeks before both the night of set-up on April 4th and the event on April 5th. Description

Rainbow Center for Communicative Disorders has been serving children with special educational needs since 1977, and we offer programming for both children and adults. Our day school program, Rainbow Center, works with 18 metro area school districts for children with disabilities ages 3-21. We also offer a day-habilitation program for adults with severe disabilities over age 21. Quality of life focusing on daily living skills, community integration, and health and fitness are included in the day programming.
