Hope Harbor is an organization that works with individuals and families to help them become self-sufficient. Our vision and mission are as follows:
Vision: Building community through strengthening families.
Mission: Hope Harbor is dedicated to working in partnership with families by linking them to community resources, empowering them to transform their lives for long term self sufficiency
Volunteer Opportunities Include But Are Not Limited Too:
Tutoring
Helping individuals find jobs.
Teaching budgeting skills
Teaching Job Related Skills ( resume writing, writing a cover letter, dress for success)
Providing transportation
Working one on one or creating a workshop for a larger group
The time commitment is about 4 or 8 hours a month. We do ask that you give six months to a one year commitment

Hope Harbor works with selected families to help them develop a better way of life and to escape the cycle of poverty. We work with them for as long as necessary. We are people focused, with shared accountability. We work with the individuals and families providing them with what they need to be successful. We are innovative and holistic as well as faith, commitment and trust centered.
