Each year Chippewa Nature Center welcomes Spring with our annual Maple Syrup Day Event on Saturday, March 19
The public can enjoy crafts, tours of our Sugarbush and watch how maple syrup is made-admission fee for non-members. A pancake meal is also available for purchase-pre-reservation required-go to www.chippewanaturecenter.org to reserve a spot.
To make this event a success for our visitors, we depend on a large team of volunteers to help inside with the pancake meal. Several predetermined shifts are available during the day. There are also a limited number of outdoor children/family friendly slots available as well.
Volunteer opportunities include: meal servers, drink servers and clean up crews. and OUTSIDE there is a limited number of slots available for Photo booth and children's crafts/activities volunteers.
