Habitat ReStore is a FUN place to spend your time! Come volunteer with us!
One ReStore, Two Locations:
- ReStore West, 5402 W. Integrity Way Appleton (by Costco)
- ReStore East, 3000 E. College Ave. Appleton (by 441)
We have 4 main volunteer roles at each location:
- Greeter - Be the warm, welcoming face of ReStore. Greet our customers as they arrive. Help guide them to find what they're looking for. Share with them about our mission. Show them our current discount list. Answer questions. You may also be asked to guide and orient new volunteers. Training is provided.
- Floor/Customer Service - Assist shoppers to find what they're looking for, answer questions, help measure items and provide a smile and great customer service to our shoppers.
- Back Room - Volunteers in our back room greet donors dropping off items. Then donations are processed, cleaned, priced and soon wind up on the sales floor!
- Cashier - Help run our cash register and be the final smile our customers see as they shop at ReStore. Full training is provided and you will shadow other experienced volunteers until fully trained.
- Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm or 2-6pm
- Saturdays from 9am-1pm or 1-5pm

The Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore has a three-fold mission: 1. To provide funds to the Greater Fox Cities HFH to create affordable housing opportunities in Calumet, Northern Winnebago, Outagamie, and Waupaca Counties. 2. Provide building materials at reduced prices to our community. 3. Keep usable materials out of our landfills
Description
The Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Nearly all of the work that is done at the Habitat ReStore is completed by our dedicated volunteer base. We have plenty of opportunities to help out at the Habitat ReStore, and can find something for everyone to do!
