**ImpactLife is now requiring all staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination is required. At this time, masks must still be worn by all staff, volunteers and donors.

Our volunteer drivers pickup blood at various mobile blood drives in the Cedar Rapids area and transport it to the Davenport Center for testing and distribution.

For Blood Drives, Volunteer Resources calls to ask if a certain day/time and location will work for you to pick up. You decide if this day/time/location works. Volunteer Services then sends you a Mobile Info sheet w/address and instructions.

Mileage reimbursed! Time off when needed. Each driver receives a new driver polo.
Orientation and Training are held in Davenport at our Headquarters location.
Must be at least 25 and able to pass Driver Background Check.

Description

The Blood Center is a volunteer-based organization that involves volunteer blood donors, a voluntary board of trustees, and community volunteers. Volunteers provide a much needed and valued service to our donors, patients and staff. We serve over 115 hospitals in 4 states and utilize volunteers from many areas to assist in our operations. Headquarters for the organization, as well as component processing, is located in Davenport, Iowa.
