Looking for a way to volunteer your skills to support our community?

The Wayne County Medical Reserve Corps provides opportunities for both medical and non-medical volunteers to support public health initiatives and respond to local emergencies. All it takes is the desire to volunteer and the capacity to learn.

We are a part of the Emergency Preparedness program in the Wayne County Department of Health, Veterans & Community Wellness, and are looking for individuals who are willing to work alongside public health staff in the event of an emergency.

We will provide all the training you would need to help us keep our programs and services running in the event of a countywide disaster. In return, you will gain valuable knowledge that will allow you to serve your community.
