Program to be held in Scripps Ranch. To support education kids and teens are missing in school due to COVID 19.

In response to COVID-19 and state-wide conditions, T3 has moved its programs outside. In time "The Show Will Go On", but for now we’ll continue to train in the safest and healthiest of environments.

T3 Triple Threat Youth Mentors (T3) is a non-profit, pre-professional training and performance programs. We are dedicated to helping kids and teens craft their best work both on and off stage. To do this we bring together Teaching Artist and other talented creatives to help train, develop and showcase their talents.

Language Arts In The Park (LAITP) is a theatre-based literacy program that provides an outlet for kids and teens to strengthen their core and academic skills.

Following the California State Board of Educations Arts Standards for public schools participants explore the dramatic process from ideal, to page to stage. Along the way students develop academic and life skills necessary for personal and academic success.

LAITP promotes critical thinking, effective communication, working collaboratively while helping youth discover their own personal voice. This approach consist of an exploration of various dramatic texts, reflective journaling and dramatic writing exercises culminating in the creation of published or original works; which upon completion are culturally responsive and reflect personal identity an experience.

Students emerge from the program with more confidence in their capability to learn at school, a greater sense of personal accomplishment, and a stronger understanding of how to communicate for success.

The overarching goal is for students to attain lifelong, creative, cognitive, social, and emotional benefits through arts activities.
