We are looking for someone who can help with the administrative duties of Mind Treasures
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Review incoming e-mail announcements and take further actions as needed
- Monitor and maintain program schedule
- Update social media (website, facebook, twitter) with the latest news about organizations
- Work with the treasurer on recording financial transactions
Following skills are helpful but not necessary:
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks
- Google Suite (docs, sheet, slide, sites)

Today's financial challenges are a testimonial to a growing need for specific education as more and more families and individuals become victims of their financial illiteracy. Such challenges are among the major causes of bankruptcies, foreclosures, divorces, homelessness and even suicide in some cases.
While monetary issues seem to be the main source of current financial challenges, the root cause can be traced back to lack of character development in individuals. Mind Treasures is the only organization that has developed a unique curriculum (approved by the California Department of Education), that combines character development with financial literacy, in order to raise a generation that is nourished soundly, to become financially independent in order to use wealth and prosperity for philanthropic purposes. Through these programs, attendees learn to build a solid foundation in 'saving, investing, sharing and spending' by developing their key characters such as patience, responsibility, moderation, thankfulness, selflessness, generosity and truthfulness. This development is complemented by learning the goal setting, decision making, borrowing and budgeting processes. Furthermore attendees learn various elements of interest, credit, basic taxes and much more.
