Do you want to make a difference in the lives of those dealing with serious illness? Pet therapists are needed for patient visits. Volunteers must be TDI or Delta certified, and commit to a minimum of one hour a month. Most visits are made in a nursing home setting. Volunteers add purpose to the lives of terminally ill patients and their families. We will train you free of charge.
Please, if you have had a death in the last year, wait a minimum of 1 year before volunteering to allow yourself to heal and be ready to assist others.
