Hospice volunteers provide companionship to patients and respite to families. Volunteers visit patients living in facilities. Volunteers provide respite to family members caring for a patient at home; a volunteers stays with the patient while the family members can run errands and take a break from caregiving duties.
Training is provided at no charge. Continuing education is offered to all volunteers.
