We are currently looking for volunteer transportation drivers.

HELP of Ojai’s Transportation Service is a great resource for seniors and the disabled to continue to access the grocery store, doctors, and other appointments within our Ojai Valley. We offer rides for many purposes.

All of our drivers are volunteers who enjoy building relationships with their transportation clients. The company of a rider is as valuable as a visit to the physical therapist.

Whatever your special skill, interest or talent, whatever your time availability, we can find a way to put you to "good" work. Our volunteers serve as transportation drivers, receptionists, food preparers and servers, food pantry organizers and in many more roles.

HELP of Ojai always needs volunteers! Do you have a passion to help people? If so, we encourage you to come HELP Ojai out! Please, find a service opportunity that meets your personal goals and desires.



2 Shifts

  • 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM
    Our Morning Driver Shift is typically from 8:30am - 12:30pm, one day per week.
  • afternoon / 12:30 PM to 03:30 PM
    One day per week, or on call shifts available.

HELP of Ojai’s mission is to combine community and individual resources to respond to the identified unmet basic human needs of individuals in the Ojai Valley.

Description

Over one hundred fifty times each day, HELP of Ojai provides assistance to folks in the Ojai Valley. HELP serves community needs through a network of programs that includes Meals on Wheels, transportation, the Community Assistance food pantry, and more. These programs are possible in large part due to the efforts of the many wonderful volunteers.
