Idea Builders Initiative seeks an exceptional individual to help with local, regional and international grants and may also propose change projects that will either build on existing programmes or initiate new directions/projects.
Idea Builders Initiative is a leading non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to enabling women see, understand, claim and demand their rights to economic freedom, gender equity, social justice and political inclusion.
Our mission drives us to Inspire, Engage and Equip Women and Girls to transform their lives and serve as change agents in society. The organization commenced operations in 2003 and now, almost ten years and still counting, Idea Builders Initiative occupies a more than significant presence in the development sector.
NEED:
This is an opportunity for a talented individual to join us.
It is a non-paid position. Approximate time requirement, five hours a week.

Description
Idea Builders is a not-for-profit initiative founded in 2003 as a not-for-profit initiative dedicated to improving lives of the rural and urban poor.
We work to overcome generally accepted obstacles to success and change by helping the poor to help themselves, Idea Builders creates long-term impact working through Agriculture as a livelihood and employment pathway whilst delivering leadership programming to effectively lift and challenge women & girls to succeed.
We work with communities to develop solutions and ideas for local issues and opportunities; build consensus for improving the standard of living in rural communities; facilitate idea generation to support a combination of sustainable sources of income; provide resources for community learning; and facilitate community based micro enterprise development initiatives.
Focusing attention on the plight of women & girls is at the core of the Millennium goals, we believe that securing their well being will only be possible through enhancement of their individual productive, social and environmental assets.
