The St. Vincent de Paul Champion Workforce helps people regain their footing and re-enter the workplace. The program provides meaningful skills development, part-time employment, case management, workforce readiness classes and job placement support. Volunteer as an Employment Placement Specialist and help our graduates prepare for long term employment after completion of the program.

Flexible schedule; times available Tuesday-Saturday 9am-3pm.Free gated parking lot available on-site.

Volunteers will be asked to:

• Work closely with our transitional employees to help them find meaningful employment after completion of the program

• Contact prospective employers to determine their need and to solicit job vacancies for graduates

• Review job vacancies and match candidates with job requirements

• Interview job applicants to select candidates who meet employer qualifications

• Arrange interviews between employers and candidates to facilitate placement

• Assist with events such as job fairs that bring employers in contact with job ready participants

• Assist with data entry

• Provide administrative support where needed

This position provides a unique opportunity for volunteers to interact one-on-one with guests, actively participate in a program designed to assist individuals in becoming self-sufficient, and help St. Vincent de Paul achieve its mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
