Volunteers play a major role at Stanford Health Library. Responsibilities include helping patrons navigate through the hospital and clinics, working with patrons as they search for answers to health and medical questions and creating individualized research packets for patrons who cannot come into the library. Training is led by a medical librarian and volunteers may attend special classes such as internet researching. The library is open Monday-Friday, 9 to 5.
