Mission Statement

The Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence mobilizes our member programs and allies to end domestic violence through advocacy and action for social change. We support our 73 independent member programs, who in turn, serve survivors of abuse, their children, and their families in communities across the state. Learn more at www.wscadv.org.

Description

Founded in 1990 by survivors and their allies, we are a non-profit 501(c)3 network of domestic violence programs. Our membership works tirelessly across the state to help survivors towards safety and freedom. Our work includes visionary leadership, supporting our member programs, and engaging the public to play a role in ending domestic and sexual violence. We are working to create a world where all people can live and love freely without fear because living a life free of violence is a basic human right. Our Theory of Change is a visual representation of the future we are trying to create, and the paths we are following to achieve the changes we seek.
