Come help care, train, and pair a medical service dog with a veteran or a person in need. Come help maintain our facility as well as socializing our dogs and puppies with lots of hugs, kisses and play time. We would like people to know what a medical service dog really does, and the impact that it can have on a persons life.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
About Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc.
3251 NE 180th Ave., Williston, FL 32696, US
Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc., was created for the charitable purpose of raising, training and then donating highly skilled service dogs to mentally and/or physically disabled people to provide assistance, independence and improve their quality of life. In addition, it is our goal to promote education and pioneer research studies to further advancement of service dog training, raise public awareness regarding the laws pertaining to service dogs and lessen the dependency of the disabled on government, communities, caregivers and families.
We raise, train and donate our dogs to the disabled. The dogs learn high level skills such as opening/closing doors, turning on/off lights, picking up dropped items, alerting, assisting the hearing impaired, etc. Since we are a non-profit, we depend on volunteers to help us with various business and fundraising tasks. Additionally, we need Foster Families and people who enjoy loving, playing with and taking care of dogs at various ages.
