Blount County Community Action Agency

  • 17 people are interested

Drive elderly Blount County residents to medical appointments, grocery stores and other essential places. All riders are ambulatory, no wheelchairs. Using your personal vehicle and self-assigning your rides through an online program, the commitment of 3 hours per month is on your schedule, not ours. Gas reimbursement, training, and friendly staff included. Check with your auto insurer to verify that there is NO additional liability exposure in this program - in fact it's much less than driving your neighbor to the store. SMiles drivers make a huge difference to local seniors. We'd love to have you join our fantastic group of SMilers!
