The Kindred volunteer team invites you to join them in their efforts to provide compassionate care to those at the end of life's journey. Reading to patients, playing or listening to music, attending Bingo or just sharing time with patients can brighten their day. Making comfort items or cupcakes for a birthday or creating a flower arrangement can offer a pleasant surprise. Gentiva offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities to suit your schedule.
Many of our patients are located within your community! We especially need volunteers in the following counties. Kosciusko, Miami, Wabash and Whitley.

Description
Kindres Hospice (formerly Gentiva Hospice) is a team of professionals who provide care to patients and families with end of life needs. As key members of the care team, volunteers expand and enhance hospice services for our patients. Volunteers bring special skills and talents to share with patients, and offer comfort through companionship visits, administrative assistance and special projects for patients and their families.
