Kindred Hospice is seeking veterans to visit hospice patients who are veterans. Share your stories and bring comfort and support to patients. Veteran volunteers have the unique ability to relate and connect with each patient thereby creating an environment where life review and healing may occur.
Veterans who are Kindred volunteers will also participate in the annual Veterans' Day recognition of our patients who have served in the military as well as special pinning ceremonies throughout the year.
Many of our patients are located within your community! We especially need volunteers in the following counties. Allen, Fulton, Kosciusko and Marshall. Make a difference - visit a veteran!

Description
Kindres Hospice (formerly Gentiva Hospice) is a team of professionals who provide care to patients and families with end of life needs. As key members of the care team, volunteers expand and enhance hospice services for our patients. Volunteers bring special skills and talents to share with patients, and offer comfort through companionship visits, administrative assistance and special projects for patients and their families.
