The Center for Speech and Language Disorders seeks board members with expertise in any of the following areas: accounting, information technology, fundraising, marketing, new media, legal compliance, human resources, and strategic planning. Additionally, we are looking for individuals that also have experience working in medical/therapy fields or experience working with insurance companies. It's an exciting time for the growing organization as we are rebranding and expanding our coverage areas. You can help this growing 501(c)(3) organization meet the challenges of delivering exceptional services to its clients.We seek college graduates with 8 or more years of professional experience.

To help children with communication disorders reach their full potential through family centered services.
Description
The Center for Speech and Language Disorders provides individual and group therapy for children with communication disorders (many of whom are on the autism spectrum) and literacy problems. The services are generally reimbursed through families' medical insurance, but the Center provides reduced-fee or free services for families who cannot afford to pay for them.
