We are a non-profit organization that uses horse riding as a form of therapy for people with disabilities and war veterans. We are always looking for volunteers to help us out on the farm. We can give a little tour and orientation on the first visit, and answer any questions you may have. We need volunteers to assist our riders in their daily lessons, for various fundraising events, horse care, and farm projects (such as painting the barn and putting up a new fence). We have a schedule for our riders every week. Each lesson is about an hour long and generally a leader is needed to prepare and walk the horse, but an instructor is present for each lesson.
