If you love animals, have pets, or wish you had a pet, this opportunity would be great for you! Rabbit Rescue has been working with homeless rabbits since 1995. We partner with PetCo stores to give rabbits visibility to the public, do adoptions, and educate people about having pet rabbits. We house 1 rabbit for adoption at the PetCo Sloat Blvd location. We need help cleaning up after the bunny, making sure it has proper food and water, and giving him or her hopping time and snuggle time.
Come visit with a bunny! You can see a short video about Rabbit Rescue volunteering on YouTube. https://youtu.be/saTSGPDGtv8

Mission Statement
To rescue homeless and neglected rabbits and find them loving homes.
Description
Rabbit Rescue, Inc. was established in 1995 in Downey, California. We are a non-profit/501c(3), no-kill shelter staffed and run entirely by volunteers. We rely on public donations and monies made by our on-line store rabbitshop.com to stay operational. 100% of ALL monies earned go directly to our bunnies, to pay for hay, pellets, fresh greens, housing, spay/neuter, medical treatment, drugs & medical supplies, toys and other environmental enrichments. Most of our rabbits come from local shelters where they're slated for euthanasia. All of our rabbits come from unfortunate circumstances ranging from simple neglect or abandonment to outright abuse. Many require both emotional and physical rehabilitation, and we keep our number of rabbits low to ensure each of them the optimum in medical care and individual attention. The end result is a happy, healthy bunny...litterbox trained, socialized, and ready to be a loved and loving member of your family. Rabbit Rescue, Inc. has rescued over 300 rabbits in the past 7 years. If you would like to assist us in our efforts to save rabbit lives, we welcome volunteers and/or tax-deductible donations.
