The Friends of the East San Jose Carnegie Branch Library support, advocate and raise funds for the library. Funds to support library programs are raised through book sales.
The next book sale will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Volunteers are needed for the following dates and times:
Setup: Friday, October 26, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.
Setup, and Organizing: Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 9 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Helping at the Book Sale: Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Clean-up: Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
We will need the most volunteers on Friday October 26 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. and Saturday October 27 from 3:30 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.

Description
Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
