Friday Night Live Youth
A few of our youth before an exciting Friday Night Live Outreach Event

We are looking for caring, creative, compassionate volunteers who want to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ by hanging out with the urban youth that we serve. Our youth are 11-19 yrs old from difficult backgrounds of broken families, homelessness and incarceration. We need volunteers to pick up youth and transport them to our Friday Night Live events, mentor a group of 3-5 youth, serve food, or help lead a College Prep class.

Volunteering with us is flexible to your schedule. Most of our events are on Monday or Friday Evenings for two hours at City of Refuge Church at 3150 Yellowstone Blvd in Houston. Volunteering to make a difference in the lives of our youth can be the most rewarding experience for you and can literally change the course of their life by the encouraging words, actions and time you spend with them. We have some really great teens in our program, most just want to chance to be a kid which is the opportunity our events provide.
