Our 501 (c) (3) group feeds up to 100 homeless and disadvantaged M-Sat. We are all volunteers. This is done in Henderson. We are having a open house May 6th 2-4 pm with tables of information, etc. to explain our program and to let you know how your group can help feed our guests once a year or as often as you like. I'd like to send you a flyer.

Friends in the Desert Foundation, Inc. in Henderson has volunteers (over 3,000) buying, preparing and serving meals nightly to up to 125 people a night. These volunteers rotate throughout the calendar year.

We are in need a few more groups willing to buy, prepare and serve one meal to our guests once a year, twice a year or however you would like to set it up. We no longer need individuals looking to help (thankfully). Some groups serve once a month, some serve once or twice a year.

Many of the volunteers are church groups, civic groups, schools, families etc. Some take one specific day a month, some take one day a year and so forth.
