We are looking for volunteers to help. Ongoing opportunities include: cleaning toys, restocking blankets and stuffed animals in the cabinets, childcare and/or cooking meals for our Non-Offending Caregivers Group, other various office duties. Volunteers are also needed to help with fundraising events at certain times of the year.

Description
The Children's Advocacy & Protection Center is the only place in Catawba County that treats children of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse. A Children's Advocacy Center is a home-like center where an abused child can tell their traumatic story one time rather than telling the story over and over again to all of the agencies that are involved in their care. A Children's Advocacy Center serves as a hub for a mulitdisciplanary team put into action to help the child. This involves the police department, social services, medical, mental health, and justice department.
