We have lots of adoptable kittens and cats in need of loving foster homes. Opening your home to a litter of kittens, a pregnant or nursing mom, or a special needs cat will give you a lifetime of satisfaction and a way of contributing to our organization. We always need foster homes that can give tender loving care and individual attention to our rescued felines. Our foster home network is among the best in the state and we have a wonderful foster coordinator who will make sure fostering is a great experience for you and your family!

Mission Statement
FORGOTTEN FELINES, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit organization with a mission to stop the proliferation of homeless cats living hard lives and struggling to find food and shelter on the streets of our local communities.
We have all the cats we rescue spayed or neutered, vaccinated, given thorough health exams, and tested for feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).
At our no-kill shelter, we provide nutritious food, warm beds and expert care to as many cats as possible with the goal of finding them permanent, loving homes. We release feral cats into managed colonies where they are fed and sheltered.
Description
FORGOTTEN FELINES was founded over 15 years ago to help meet the growing needs of the homeless cat population on the Connecticut shoreline.
We currently have over 75 active volunteers, most of whom have full-time jobs. We are not open to the public with posted hours, and book all visits by appointment.
Our service area includes Guilford, Madison, Clinton, Killingworth, Westbrook, Old Saybrook, Essex, Ivoryton, Deep River and Chester.
