Research shows that caring adults working with kids of all ages can help boost academic achievement. United Way of Brevard sponsored a reading program in area elementary schools along with multiple afterschool programs, using the myON Reader, a digital e-reader program that the students absolutely LOVE! They are able to select books at their reading level in their field of interest and really learn to love reading! Together we can make a difference! Please contact us if you are interested and are able to make a commitment for the upcoming school year, volunteering one hour per week.
