The Gardens at Heather Farm's acclaimed Natural Science Classroom has been providing a wide variety of environmental education programs to school children for the past 28 years.
Share your love of nature, gardens and science by teaching hands-on lessons to school age children. Previous experience is not necessary. Six week training program covers everything you'll need to know to teach classes on a wide range of topics - from beneficial bugs, native plants, school gardens, and composting to geology. Your time commitment is only 1/2 day a month for teaching.
The Gardens is a living museum, a wildlife habitat, an outdoor classroom, a public garden, and a beautiful place for all to enjoy!
