About

Want to use your writing and/or legal background to help deserving teens get a college education? Minds Matter of Los Angeles is looking for a Grant Team Lead and Grant Writers. The Grant Team Lead sets priorities as to which grants to pursue and in what order. They manage the process to ensure all grants are submitted on time with complete and accurate information. If a grant is denied, they follow up with funder to ascertain why. The Grant Team Lead needs to have outstanding writing and communication skills, be highly organized and have great attention to detail. Role would require 2 to 3 hours per week as well as bi-weekly meetings with Grant Writing volunteers. Specific grant writing experience is welcomed but not required. Legal backgrounds are very beneficial to this role.
