Clothing Drive Assistant:

Career Wardrobe receives over $500,000 worth of donated clothing and accessories each year. Help us to collect and sort donations at a location convenient for you. This position offers great opportunities for groups and community service requirements for high schools, college and sororities. Volunteer instruction is conducted at each individual monthly drive. Attending our Volunteer Orientation is encouraged, but not required.

Volunteers assist our donors by meeting them at their cars, unloading their donations, handing out tax receipts when necessary and sorting through the donations once inside to pull out the appropriate items for both Career Wardrobe and The Wardrobe Boutique. Drives held in the evening hours. No prior training is required and volunteers can be taught their tasks the night of the event.

Commitment: 3 drives (or more) per year

Volunteers are needed for each of our monthly clothing drives.

Help donors with their donations, "weed out" inappropriate clothing, and sort through work appropriate items to place in our inventory during our monthly clothing drives. Casual attire suggested. Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5-7PM at St. George's Episcopal Church at the corner of Darby Road & Ardmore Avenue, 1 W Ardmore Ave, Ardmore, PA 19003.
