Heart of the City 5K
On Saturday, March 28, 2020 the 8th Annual Heart of the City 5k will draw nearly 3,000 walkers, runners, and volunteers to the heart of Los Angeles to support an essential community resource: California Hospital Medical Center (CHMC). Heart of the City is a 5K run/walk designed to raise funds for, and awareness of, California Hospital Medical Center. It is a pledge-based event, allowing participants to raise additional support from their friends and colleagues. This dog-friendly event will begin and end in front of the hospital at 1401 S. Grand Avenue, traveling on an exciting course through downtown Los Angeles and includes a festival after the race. Not only will you be an essential part of Heart of the City, you'll have fun at the same time! Each volunteer will receive a great race volunteer t-shirt.
Volunteers needed for set-up (5:30am) registration (6:00am) course monitors (7:00am) and festival assistance (8:00am). Visit the website for details and to register:
