This is truly an awesome volunteer gig and we need you!!!
Be a Zero Waste Station Recycling Ambassador at the high profile Waste Management Phoenix Open! Waste Management does an amazing job making this the most environmentally friendly golf tournament! Support the WMPO Zero Waste Goal by working as a 'ZWS' Recycling Ambassador! Three Zero Waste Stations will be set up in high traffic areas on the course where tournament fans will drop off their various waste items and volunteers will sort the materials into recycling and composting bins.
Volunteers will also engage with the crowd, providing information about recycling and composting. There are fun games at the ZWS stations to get And not to worry...training will be provided....so you will be a ZWS expert!
For all your hard work, volunteers will receive a walking pass (good for any day) to come back and enjoy the tournament along with a meal ticket for during or after your shift!
Zero Waste Stations make this the 'greenest' show on grass! The tournament runs January 30th to February 5th. Two shifts are available: 7:00am to 12noon and 12noon to 5pm. You can work as many shifts as you would like! Please note: volunteers are especially needed on Saturday, February 4th and Sunday, February 5th.
