At KINDRED Hospice, formerly Gentiva Hospice, we care for terminally ill patients and their families by enhancing patient comfort and quality of life. Volunteers provide companionship and support to patients and their families.
Volunteering with Kindred includes a number of different skill sets. Patient Support volunteers help caregivers and provide companionship to patients. Specialized volunteers such as Vigil, Veteran to Veteran and Bereavement volunteers support patients in a variety of different ways. Other volunteers provide music or pet therapy.
Administrative volunteers help with filing, making copies, and organizing.
Volunteers are needed to serve in the patient support role in the following counties:
- Hall *Office/Administrative volunteers also needed
- Clarke *Office/Administrative volunteers also needed
Volunteers expand the services we are able to offer patients and their families. We value them for their time and effort. Volunteers are very important members of our team. Won’t you join us?
